Goa Cong needs to learn unity from Kerala

As always, a cold war has erupted within the Congress party over the change in leadership. Women workers, who have toiled hard for the party, are being sidelined and deserve answers—especially from the South Goa MP who seems unaware of the internal chaos and high command decisions.

The Congress party boat is already rocking ahead of the elections. If they come to power, it is almost certain that many elected MLAs will defect to the BJP, driven by greed for money and power. The party has repeatedly failed to learn from its mistakes, continuously betraying voters who have supported it for years. Goa Congress must learn unity from Kerala’s example. Unfortunately, the former South Goa MP and some MLAs cannot be trusted—they secretly support BJP agendas from within. If such internal sabotage continues, BJP will regain power in Goa once again. The division of votes makes BJP a winner. Moreover, the increasing number of outsiders residing in Goa for years have become a powerful vote bank for politicians, further diluting the voice of native Goans. This trend poses a serious threat to Goa’s political and cultural integrity.
