Every other day, Goa witnesses tragic road accidents, with families losing their loved ones. And every single day, precious lives are lost. Yet instead of showing compassion or taking responsibility, the current government chooses to blame the victims—accusing them of rash driving or negligence.
Is this what humanity looks like? Why play politics over the lives that are already lost?
Given the current situation, one pressing question arises: Are Goa’s roads truly safe for driving? Alongside the spike in accidents, we’re also seeing a disturbing rise in robberies, murders, and sexual assaults.
Is the government going to keep blaming the people of Goa for everything that’s going wrong? Have they forgotten that these very citizens—their voters—are the reason they hold power today?
This is a humble plea: please stop the blame game and start working sincerely for the safety and welfare of the people of Goa.
