Priol MLA and former minister Govind Gaude while addressing a large gathering of his supporters at his first public meeting on Sunday at Khandola-Marcel, since being dropped from the cabinet was heard telling all sorts of great stories about himself by doing his usual drama and somehow still trying to display his loyalty towards the BJP in Goa. Well, if Gaude was really a man of strong principles then he would have voluntarily given up his ministership long back after making his anti-government statement on corruption rather than waiting for CM Pramod Sawant to make a final announcement of sacking him unceremoniously from the cabinet for doing so on Goa's Revolution Day. I think that Gaude should first tell us as to what he has really done for the upliftment of the ST community in the state and how many ST people he has given govt jobs when he was a minister rather than organising such public meetings by bringing a paid crowd to rejuvenate his own political career.
