Looking at the current situation, one question keeps coming to my mind: why is my small, beautiful Goa facing so many issues? The first issue is the so-called development, which is turning Goa into a concrete jungle, putting our natural resources at risk.
The second issue, linked to tourism, is the destruction of peace and harmony. Are we really attracting the right kind of tourists to Goa? The third, and very concerning, issue is the increasing land scams. Is Goa truly for sale? The fourth issue is job scams, with unemployment rising in Goa, leaving many without work.
The fifth issue is the growing concerns about migrants, with an increase in crimes like murders, rapes, and robberies. Is Goa still a safe place to live? The BJP government promised “Har Ghar Jal,” but given the current situation, are Goans really getting enough water? Don’t we deserve 24-hour water supply?
