The win of Revolutionary Goans at this election is the most outstanding. The party’s only win in St Andre constituency is the most valuable as they fought without using muscle or money power -- the rest were well established and seasoned candidates or were supported to the core by sponsors. This proves that even now elections can be won without doling out money. St Andre has made Goa proud because the win there is ethical from among many constituencies where voters were bought. Also, the constituency elected a young MLA, who understands the needs and aspirations of the people.
