Repair all roads in Saligao before opening of schools

The condition of the Saligao road stretch (starting from cross-road circle/Government Primary school and heading right up to Peggy's corner & going to the Seminary/Pilerne Industrial estate) which was dug up for underground power cabling some two months back have gone from bad to worse. And with the sudden heavy pre-monsoon showers since Tuesday, the same has turned real slippery and become very dangerous/unsafe for those using this road. Of course, the local MLA Kedar Naik has now promised to restore the said road at the very earliest and the work of which has already started but that too, at the last minute in the ongoing pre-monsoon shower season since Tuesday.  He has also said the government has dug up the said road stretch, many other roads from in around the village to solve the electricity/water problem of the villagers of Saligao (which include Sangolda) for the next 50 years.  I think that the local MLA should stop testing the patience of all the Saligaokars in particular/those working in Pilerne Industrial estate and instead should get all dug up roads from in around the village fully restored before the reopening of all the schools in Saligao.
