Congress heavyweight Aleixobab Sequeira is back on the radar of friends and foes after a get-together with newly-elected panchas from the Nuvem constituency. His detractors went to the town with news that the get-together was aimed at seeking a nod from supporters to switch sides and join the saffron brigade.
Aleixobab was quick to deny any such plan. His detractors, however, fear that the get-together could be an alibi for the senior Congress leader to tell all and sundry that he had taken his workers into confidence, in the event he ultimately part ways from the grand old party. Any takers?
