It was a week when young MLA Yuri Alemao virtually scuttled the saffron brigade from scoring some brownie points in Cuncolim. When realization dawned that the local BJP had drawn up plans to inspect the Cuncolim bus stand with KTC Chairman MLA Ulhasbab Tuenkar, Team Yuri is believed to have immediately sent an SOS to the Congress brigade. As it turned out, the Congress brigade was present in strength at the bus stand, scuttling the proposed bus stand inspection by the Chairman with BJP workers.
