Is South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha keen on seeking re-election in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls? This question has again come to the fore after the MP neither confirmed nor denied any plans for 2024, saying it’s too early to disclose anything for the moment. His detractors in the Congress in private say that the MP is very much keen on throwing his hat in the election ring after having announced three years ago that the 2019 Lok Sabha polls will be his last election. Wait and watch how the Congress leadership grapples with the Sardinha factor if the party has any other candidate in mind.
