CAC Cansaulim beat Majorda-Utorda-Calata (MUC) Footballers 2-0 to win the Lourdes Festival football title in an exciting match organised by United Club of Utorda at SAG ground, Utorda on Sunday. Cansaulim drew first blood in the 37th minute while Shaniel Lucas doubled the score in the dying minutes.
President Jose Remedious Pereira welcomed chief guest Fr Arvino Fernandes, who spoke on the occasion in the presence of sarpanch of Majorda Utorda Calata, Sharlet Fernandes, VP Secretary Cris Faria, panchas, club sports secretaries Tony V Fernandes, Seby Fernandes, project coordinators Bruno Azaredo and Pracedes Fernandes. Anthony Pereira compered while Liberata proposed the vote of thanks.
