Ina truncated ISL season, FC Goa played only six games at home duringthis season. But the season will be remembered for shockingly lowattendance figures for most of the matches played at Fatorda.

Gaur’sfirst match at Fatorda on February 14 against Inter Kashi wasattended by mere 1,577 spectators., the lowest in Goa’s ISLhistory.
Attendanceimproved slightly during FC Goa’s next home game against SportingDelhi on February 26 with 5,160 spectators attending that match, thanks to the free passes given to women spectators.

Butthe current season has been a disaster in terms of crowd attendance.Four out of the six matches played at Fatorda during this seasonoccupy the top-four least attended matches in ISL history at Fatorda.
Thisis a far cry from initial days of ISL. During earlier seasons, thereused to be festive atmosphere inside the stadium, lot of enthusiasmamong the crowd. That kind of atmosphere is clearly missing now.
Theinitial seasons were a huge success, with high TV ratings andattendance figures. The league was able to create a buzz aroundfootball in India that had not been seen before. The buzz andexcitement has fizzled out completely.
