FC Siolim defeated 10-man Guardian Angel SC Curchorem 4–1 to advance to the quarterfinals of the 18th All Goa Inter-Village Seraulim Panchayat Cup Football Tournament 2026. The tournament is organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim and is being played at the Seraulim Panchayat Ground.
FC Siolim took the lead in the 18th minute through Manthan Jivani, who calmly slotted the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper Oswin. They held a 1–0 advantage at halftime.
Despite being reduced to 10 men, Guardian Angel SC showed resilience and managed to equalise in the 40th minute through Adrian Gomes, keeping the contest evenly poised.
The turning point came in the 52nd minute when FC Siolim were awarded a penalty. Madan Pomburphekar converted from the spot to restore his side’s lead at 2–1.
Pushing forward in search of another equaliser, Guardian Angel left gaps at the back, which FC Siolim exploited effectively. Dayal Toreskar struck twice in quick succession in the 56th and 60th minutes, sealing a convincing 4–1 victory and confirming Siolim’s place in the quarterfinals.
