MARGAO: Ambelim Sports Club delivered a commanding performance, defeating Margao Sports Club 7-0 in the GFA Futsal tournament at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, on Monday.
Ambelim took an early lead with Hasten Fernandes scoring in the 2nd minute, followed by Crosley Luis in the 10th minute and goalkeeper Ozen Silva in the 15th minute. Velon Fernandes further extended the lead with a goal in the 27th minute, giving Ambelim a comfortable 3-0 advantage at halftime.
Ambelim continued their dominance in the second half. Velon Fernandes completed his hat-trick in the 33rd minute, and Chadel Fernandes added the final goal four minutes later, sealing a resounding 7-0 victory for Ambelim Sports Club.
