PANAJI: Bhageshri Padloskar, Treasurer of the Rifle Shooting Association Goa and Yash Shooting Academy, has been selected as a Technical Official for the upcoming Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship scheduled to be held in New Delhi from February 2 to 14.
Padloskar brings vast experience to the role, having officiated at numerous national and international competitions, including World Cups. She has served in key capacities such as Judge, Jury Member, and RTS Officer. Notably, she is the first woman from Goa to achieve this distinction in rifle shooting, marking a proud moment for the state.
North Goa Member of Parliament, Union Minister, and President of both the Rifle Shooting Association Goa and the Goa Olympic Association, Shripad Yesso Naik, extended his best wishes for her success at the championship.
Yogesh Padloskar, President of Yash Shooting Academy, also expressed pride in her achievement, stating that her selection is a matter of great honor for Goa and an inspiration for aspiring shooters across the region.
