MARGAO: Loyola High School, Margao delivered a commanding performance to defeat Don Bosco, Quepem 7-0 in the second semifinal of the TSH Goa Cup 2026, booking their place in the final in emphatic fashion. Nathan Afonso opened the scoring in the 13th minute, while Karl added another soon after. Nathan then struck twice more in quick succession to complete a first-half hat-trick and give Loyola a 4-0 lead at the break. In the second half, Norville and Nathan, who completed four goals in the match, added to the tally. Loyola’s defence remained solid to keep a clean sheet. Nathan was named Man of the Match. Loyola will face FC Goa Football Schools in the final on May 3.

UC Verna in Seraulim P'yat Cup semis
MARGAO: UC Verna defeated CAC Cansaulim 2-0 to enter the semifinals of the 18th All Goa Inter-Village Seraulim Panchayat Cup Football Tournament 2026, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim at the Seraulim Panchayat Ground. Desmon Pereira gave UC Verna the lead in the 33rd minute. Clive Fernandes sealed the win after a fine run and assist by Clifton Rebello, who dribbled past two defenders before setting up the goal.
