
The Goa girls' third-place winning team of Deepali Gawas, Roshni Gaonkar and Vaishnavi Dhawaskar receive their prize.

Goa’s girls clinched third place while the boys’ team finished fourth in the 69th SGFI U-17 Beach Volleyball Championship held at Miramar.
The Goa girls defeated Gujarat 2-0 in the third-place playoff, winning 21-16, 21-12 to secure a podium finish. In contrast, the Goa boys went down 0-2 to Gujarat in their third-place match, losing 13-21, 12-21 to miss out on a medal.
In the semifinals, the Goa boys lost to Tamil Nadu 0-2 (10-21, 16-21), while the girls were beaten by West Bengal 0-2 (13-21, 9-21).
In the finals, Tamil Nadu emerged champions in both categories. The boys defeated Telangana 2-0 (21-12, 21-17), while the girls edged past West Bengal 2-1 (19-21, 21-15, 15-10).
Goa were represented by Deepali Gawas, Roshni Gaonkar and Vaishnavi Dhawaskar in the girls’ section under coach Milagrina Mascarenhas, while Raunak Ghadi, Narendra Gaonkar and Vedant Kavlekar featured in the boys’ team, coached by Surya Sawant.
