The Goa Football Association (GFA) on Friday announced the State women's football team for the 36th National Games 2022 to be held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from October 1.
Goa has been clubbed along with Mizoram, Manipur and Tamil Nadu in the quarter-final league.
The players selected are: Ancella Aniceto Barretto, Alisha Salvador Tavares, Vinoshka Simren Fernandes, Meloshka Shirley Carvalho, Leifa Angelis Carvalho, Rizella Cia Almeida, Aniela Aniceto Barretto, Vailanka Vincente D'Souza, Rhea Ignatius Pires, Joizima Minguel Fernandes, Nevilla Niclao Colaco, Karen Francisco Estrocio, Karishma Purushottam Shirvoikar, Kulsum Mohamad Shaikh, Arpita Yeshwant Pednekar, Prithi Shikant Kesarkar, Michel Joaquim Castanha, Sushmita Hanumant Jadhav, Flani Antonio Costa, Namita Shripad Govekar.
The residential camp will be held from September 5 at Duler Stadium, Mapusa under supervision of ex-AIFF coach Maymol Rocky, Coach Mabel Mascarenhas and Assistant Coach Anunciacao S Rodrigues.
