PANAJI
The 36th Goa State Sub-Junior and Junior Aquatic Championship, held from July 11 to 13 at the Ponda Swimming Pool, witnessed enthusiastic participation from swimmers across the state. Organized by the Goa Swimming Association, the event brought together young talent from various age groups in a spirited display of skill and sportsmanship.
Among the standout performers was the Regular Coaching Classes (RCC) team from Panjim, comprising children from Panjim and nearby areas. Trained under the able guidance of Coach Deepak Chetry, the RCC swimmers delivered commendable performances across multiple categories.
The team’s success is a testament to their dedication, discipline, and determination, backed by months of rigorous training. With over 40 plus young swimmers currently training under Coach Deepak Chetry, RCC Panjim has become a hub for nurturing future swimming champions and continues to inspire many more children to take up the sport.
