The action-packed Next Gen League 3.0 continued at The King’s School, Sao Jose De Areal, with exciting matchups in the U15 Boys category, featuring teams from both the Diamond and Topaz divisions. Organized by The King’s Sports Academy, the league is Goa’s largest inter-school football platform, focusing on player development and sportsmanship.
In Round 1 of the Diamond Division, Our Lady of Succour High School, Verna and Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim played out a tightly contested draw. Mohammad Mirchi of Our Lady of Succour earned Player of the Match for his impactful performance.
The second Diamond Division clash saw St. Joseph’s Educational Institute, Chandor clinch a win over hosts The King’s School, Sao Jose De Areal. Trinsly Menezes stood out once again, claiming the Player of the Match award for his commanding display.
Over in Round 2 of the Topaz Division, Marina English High School, Verna secured a solid win against St. Anne’s Institute, Agonda. Parth Desai was named Player of the Match for his standout effort.
As per the development-focused format of the league, match scores are not recorded. Teams earn 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw, and 1 for a loss, promoting participation and long-term growth in youth football.
