Sudin Alias Datta Lolayekar and Sudesh Prabhudessai were elected as president and secretary, respectively, of the Mashem Cricket Club, Canacona at a recent general body meeting held at Mashem.
Other members elected unopposed include Mahadev Lolayekar as Vice President, Sujal Lolayekar as Treasurer, and Rajesh Naik as Joint Treasurer. The new Executive Members are Sanjay Naik, Minu Fernandes, Sainand Sudir, Sanjay Pagi, and Animesh Prabhudessai.
The Secretary highlighted that the new pitch at their home ground has been a significant achievement for the club. Sudesh Prabhudessai shared future plans, stating, “Our goal is to enhance the cricket pitch. We have signed an MOU with the Goa Cricket Association and Nirakar Education Society, which owns the ground, to achieve this.”
