Uguem Rising Club advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2nd Vaidya Family Cup 2026 after registering a convincing 3–0 victory over St Rock Calata, Majorda. The tournament is organised by Cuncolim Union and the match was played at the Government School Playground, Cuncolim, on Sunday.
Rutik Bandodkar was the star of the match, opening the scoring in the 10th minute before adding two more goals in the 38th and 41st minutes to complete a fine hat-trick for Uguem Rising Club.
For his outstanding performance, Rutik Bandodkar was awarded the Man of the Match, which was presented by Vijay Mopkar.
