Varca Married Veterans edged past Carmona Married Veterans 5–4 via a tiebreaker to lift the Our Lady of Socorro Festival Cup Exhibition Football Match, held at the Carmona Church Ground.
Carmona started aggressively but missed early chances, with Yuri failing to convert in the 2nd minute, followed by another missed opportunity from Tony. Varca capitalised first when Alex scored in the 10th minute. As the match progressed, Tony made amends, netting the equaliser for Carmona in the 20th minute.
With the scores tied at full-time, the match proceeded to a tiebreaker, where Varca held their nerve to seal a 5–4 victory.
Man of the Match was awarded to Doyson Estebeiro of Carmona SC, while Alex of Varca Veterans, the first scorer of the final, was also felicitated.
Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Roland presented the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Rev. Fr. Frazer, Orlando D’Silva (PPC Moderator), Special Invitee Troy Figueiredo, Venucia, and other dignitaries and church committee members.
