Legal Titans and United Brothers recorded convincing victories in the matches played on Sunday in the Advocates Cricket League 2025-26 T20 tournament.
With the win, United Brothers took their points tally to 8 from four matches and pushed 18 Juners down to second place. On the other hand, Legal Titans kept their semifinal hopes alive with a dominant performance.
Pravin Gawas's aggressive batting and disciplined bowling displays made both matches at the Chicalim ground, Vasco, highly entertaining.
In the first match, Lotlikar Lions batted first and scored 167 for 8 in their 20 overs. Venkatesh Rathod played a fighting knock of 79 runs, smashing 7 fours and 4 sixes off just 40 balls, while Prashant Borkar contributed a valuable 45. For Legal Titans, Satchit Mauskar was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets, while Jeevan Divkar claimed 2.
In reply, Legal Titans chased down the target comfortably, scoring 168 for 4 in just 15 overs. Pravin Gawas led the charge with a blistering 68 off 37 balls, including 6 fours and 5 sixes, while Satyam Ghogale supported him well with 37 runs. This emphatic victory has boosted the confidence of the Legal Titans camp.
In the second match, United Brothers were bowled out for 134 in 17.3 overs. Rahul Shet (25), Dattaraj Gawas (24) and Dattaraj Parab (22) helped the team reach a respectable total. For Risers, Dattaraj Arondekar and Sandeep Naik picked up three wickets each.
However, while chasing the target, Risers collapsed and were bundled out for 106 in 18.1 overs. Raghu Parab starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Dattaraj Parab chipped in with 2. United Brothers thus sealed a comfortable victory.
With this result, Legal Titans remain in the race for the semifinals. On Monday, Legal Titans will face the unbeaten United Brothers. If Titans manage to secure a big-margin victory in this encounter, Risers semifinal hopes could be completely dashed.
