FC Goa Football Schools secured a hard-fought place in the final of the TSH Goa Cup 2026 after edging past Marina English High School, Verna, 2–1 in an intense semifinal clash.
Marina English HS struck first in the 13th minute through Nunzio, but FC Goa responded almost immediately, with Aarav netting the equaliser in the 14th minute to level the contest 1–1 at half-time.
The second half saw Marina push forward in search of a lead, but the FC Goa goalkeeper stood strong with key saves to deny them. FC Goa eventually took control in the 41st minute when Noah scored the decisive goal to make it 2–1.
Marina pressed hard in the closing stages but were unable to break through FC Goa’s defence, which held firm until the final whistle.
Aarav Pednekar was named Man of the Match for his all-round impact, including the crucial equaliser. The award was presented by Russell Fernandes, PE teacher of Marina English High School.
