Fr Agnel YSC Paroda cruised into the semifinals of the 3rd Late Uday Shirodkar Memorial Football Tournament with a convincing 3–0 victory over Navelim Sporting Club at the Subash Chandra Bose Ground, Shiroda, on Monday.
Fr Agnel opened the scoring in the 5th minute through Steve Menezes, who finished with a neat placement shot. Navelim's Sam Pereira attempted a long-range effort in the 10th minute, but it failed to find the target. Paroda doubled their lead in the 15th minute when Pratik Gaonkar fired in a superb long ranger. Their third goal came in the 48th minute through Dolson D’Costa, sealing a dominant win.
Pratik Gaonkar of Fr Agnel YSC Paroda was named Man of the Match, with the award presented by Narayan Kamat.
