FC Goa edged past Cortalim Villagers with a solitary goal to clinch the title in the Salcete Football Club 45th Anniversary U-14 football tournament at the Sinquetim Sports Complex, Navelim. The final was evenly contested, with both teams showcasing impressive football to the delight of the large crowd in attendance.
The decisive goal came in the second half through substitute Piyush Aeer, who made an immediate impact after coming on and was later named Man of the Match.
Dronacharya Awardee Armando Colaco graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed the prizes in the presence of several dignitaries.
