Gayatri Bharat Jadhav, a chess player, trainer, SNA, and biotech engineer, has made history by becoming the first woman from Satara district, Maharashtra, to be awarded the prestigious Senior School Instructor (SSI) title under the Maharashtra Chess Association (MCA) – Chess in School program.
Gayatri secured the top rank among female candidates and ranked 4th overall in the "Train the Trainer" seminar and examination conducted by the Progressive Chess Association, Sangli, on August 24.
She has been training under the expert mentorship of Wilson Cruz, a FIDE Instructor (FI) and software engineer from Goa, at the Champion's Chess Academy, Goa.
