Goa's Amaira Dhumatker has stormed into the quarterfinals of the Yonex-Sunrise 4th Mini (U-11) National Badminton Championships 2025 with a series of commanding performances in Vadodara, Gujarat.
The talented 9-year-old shuttler showcased exceptional grit and consistency at the Sama Sports Complex, defeating Rajasthan’s Pranjal Kumari Dharkar 21-10, 21-3 in the Round of 64, West Bengal’s Ahana Srimani 21-6, 21-17 in the Round of 32, and Uttar Pradesh’s Megha Singh 21-15, 21-14 in the Round of 16.
One of Goa’s brightest rising talents and currently ranked No. 1 in the State in both singles and doubles, Amaira will now face Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Adhya Reddy Kaduluri in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
