PANAJI
Three Goan players namely Sahil Dhuri,Prasad Patil and Basappa Madar are selected to represent West Zone Veteran team which will participate in All India Veteran Cricket tournament of BVCI to be held at Cricket Arena,Hyderabad from May 2 to 4 under flood lights which is hosted by Veteran Cricket Association of Telangana.
Sahil Dhuri of Goa Veterans who had represented in 30 Ranaji matches for Goa will lead the West Zone veteran team. Five players of Maharashtra,four players of Vidarbha and two players of Mumbai are also selected in the team.
Other participating teams in this tournament include North zone,Central zone,East zone and South zone. Prominent former Ranji players from all over India those who had represented their states and different zones will be participating in this tournament.
