MARGAO
Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem emerged victorious in the U-17 Girls category at the Quepem Taluka Badminton Tournament, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Panaji.
The team showcased an outstanding run to the title, defeating C.T.N High School, Curchorem in the quarter-finals, overcoming Our Lady Mother of the Poor High School, Tilamol in the semi-finals, and clinching the championship with a win over Pope John XXIII High School, Quepem in the final.
The winning squad comprised Kavya Naik, Jagruti Shelke, Manasvi Kalal, Stala Diniz, and team captain Caren Luis. The team was ably guided by Senior Teacher Digna Dias, PE Teacher Astrid Colaco, and supported by Headmaster Fr Richard Crasto and Manager Fr Thomas Gonsalves.
