PG Goa University defeated Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao by 143 runs in the annual Inter-Collegiate Cricket Men’s Championship, organised by Goa University at Goa University cricket ground, Taleigao.

The toss was won by PG Goa University who elected to bat. They posted Goa University 238/6 in 20 overs. Anand Tendulkar was the star of the match with his 116(54) while Poornay Sudhir 46(29) assisted in building the score line. Aman Gauns was the most economical bowler with 2/32

In reply, Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao were bundled out for 95 in 16.2 overs. Sarvesh Gurav was the only top run getter with double figures 15(15). Shatregna Munankar (3/17) and Yatish Bandekar (2/14) were the main wicket takers for the opposition.

In the second match, Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem defeated CES College of Arts Commerce, Cuncolim by a huge margin of 146 runs.

The toss was won by CES College who opted to bowl.

Government College of Arts, Science &Commerce, Quepem scored 210/2 in 20 overs. Dhruv Bhende 66(58) not out, Rohit Kalmankar 44(25) were the main contributors. Abhishek Naik picked up two wickets for CES College.

CES College of Arts Commerce, Cuncolim were skittled for 64 in 12.1 over thanks to Prajyot Desai who picked up a hat-trick while Vedant Madgaonkar picked up two wickets.
