Prudent Media emerged champions of the Inter-Media Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament after registering a thrilling last-ball victory over Navhind Publications in the final played at the SAG Ground, Campal. The tournament was organised by the Tennis Ball Cricket Association in collaboration with the Goa Sports Journalists Association and the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG).
Batting first in the four-over final, Navhind Publications posted a competitive total of 45 for the loss of three wickets. Harshad top-scored with 17 runs, while Manish contributed 14 valuable runs to strengthen the innings. For Prudent Media, Sushant impressed with the ball, claiming two wickets.
Chasing a target of 46, Prudent Media held their nerve in a tense finish and crossed the line in dramatic fashion with a boundary off the final delivery. Laxman played a crucial role in the chase, scoring 16 runs and steering his side to victory.
