MARGAO: Salcete Club delivered a dominating performance to crush Margao Sports Club 8-0 in the GFA Under-14 Boys Division II League at the Sinquetim Sports Complex, Navelim. The standout of the match was Amit Morya, who scored a brilliant hat-trick.
Salcete wasted no time asserting themselves, with Sameer Bepari opening the scoring in the 3rd minute. Morya doubled the lead in the 16th minute, followed by Kishan Singh in the 28th. Morya then completed his brace in the 34th minute and netted his hat-trick in first-half stoppage time (40+1).
The second half continued in similar fashion, with Treanoy Rocha, Snehil, and Valinkeni Rebello adding goals to complete the 8-0 rout. Salcete’s attacking prowess was on full display, leaving Margao Sports Club unable to respond.
