K.K. Strikers recorded a thrilling four-wicket victory over Ultracon Madgaon Royals CC in a keenly contested league match of the GSB Unity Cup 3.0, organised by the Goa GSB Sports and Charitable Trust, at the MCC Ground, Margao.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Ultracon Madgaon Royals posted a competitive total of 174 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Damodar Pai Patnekar anchored the innings with a composed knock of 40 runs, while Showmik Angle provided the impetus with a blistering 53 off just 26 balls, smashing five sixes and two fours. Towards the end, Granthik Buyao remained unbeaten on 32 to ensure a strong finish. For K.K. Strikers, Akshay Dalvi was the pick of the bowlers with impressive figures of 3 for 30, while Ramnath Prabhu Bam claimed two wickets.

In reply, chasing a target of 175, K.K. Strikers made a confident start. Opener Aditya Dalal struck a fluent 38 off 21 deliveries to set the tone. Pratosh Pilgaonkar chipped in with a valuable 30, while captain Nikit Naik Dalal added stability to the innings with a well-made 28. In the tense final phase, Ramnath Prabhu Bam (8 not out) and Kaushik Pai Fondekar (12 not out) held their nerves and guided K.K. Strikers to victory in 19.1 overs. For Ultracon Madgaon Royals, Kartik Hattangdi and Granthik Buyao picked up two wickets each.

Akshay Dalvi was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance, while Aditya Dalal received the Hero of the Match award for his impactful innings at the top.
