Sao Jose de Areal emerged champions in the finals of the 1st All 3-a-Side Junior Tiebreaker Football Tournament after a thrilling 3-2 victory over hosts Black Arrow Boys Agxem Curtorim. The tournament was organised by Black Arrow Boys at Four Junction Ground, Agxem, Curtorim.
The event saw participation from 16 teams representing various parts of Goa, showcasing exciting young talent throughout the competition.
Individual prizes were awarded in several categories. Gladson Rocha (RA United) scored the first goal of the tournament. Ashler (Black Arrow Boys) was named Best Defender, while Macklan (RA United) took home the Best Finisher award. Vallen (RA United) was adjudged Best Sensible Player, and Royson (Thunder Strike FC) was recognised for Best Passing.
Elner (Sao Jose de Areal), who also won Man of the Match in the final, was named Best Skillful Player. His teammate Sonal finished as the tournament’s Highest Scorer.
The youngest player of the tournament was Asher Fernandes (Black Arrow Boys), while Zylen Castanha (Jack of All) was awarded Upcoming Player of the Tournament.
The final match was a closely fought encounter, capping off a successful debut edition of the tournament.
