Sonics extend dominance as Kamikaze Lourdes, Don Bosco Oratory impress

Sonics continued their dominant form with multiple convincing wins on Day 5 of the Third Sonics All-Goa U-17 Basketball League at Youth Hostel, Miramar.

In Game 23, the boys’ team thrashed Don Bosco High School 37-14, led by Daniel’s 12 points, while Nathaniel and Shritij each scored 4 for Don Bosco. The girls’ side also secured victory in Game 24, overcoming Don Bosco Fatorda 23-14 thanks to Kim’s 11-point effort and Anora’s 7 points for the opposition.

Kamikaze Lourdes impressed in Game 25, defeating Brown Ballers 22-12 with Afzal leading the charge scoring 10 points. Brown Ballers’ Rohan put up a strong fight with 8 points.

Sonics boys continued their dominance in Game 26, dismantling Loyolas 49-18. Ashton was unstoppable, pouring in 24 points, while Conrad led Loyolas with 6.

Don Bosco Oratory secured a comprehensive 45-5 win over NCS in Game 27. Avner top-scored with 12 points, while Shayn and Arjun managed 2 points each for NCS.
