MARGAO
The two-week football summer camp organised by Warren Alemao concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from children across the Benaulim constituency.
A total of 350 children attended the camp, which was held daily at the Varca Sports Club ground. Participants were provided with football kits, bags, water bottles, and a nutritious breakfast every morning. The camp featured AIFF-licensed coaches who conducted professional training sessions in a structured environment.
On the concluding day, all participants received refreshments and specially designed T-shirts. Former Zilla Panchayat member of Colva, Nelly Rodrigues, attended the closing ceremony as chief guest and encouraged the children to continue pursuing sports with dedication and discipline.
The camp has been consistently organised by Warren Alemao for the past four years to encourage young sporting talent.
