Children and their families immersed themselves in a world of creativity, exploration, and fun-filled learning experiences at two-day extravaganza ‘Summer Craft’, the Children's Festival by Kids at the Museum of Christian Art (MoCA) on April 13 and 14.

From the bustling Children's Bazaar to the open mic, every moment was brimming with excitement and enthusiasm.

Children's Bazaar (April 13-14)

Young entrepreneurs showcased their talents and creativity, offering a diverse range of handcrafted treasures and delicious treats. The vibrant atmosphere was a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit of our budding artisans.

Tidal Treasures Marine Sculpting Workshop (April 13)

In this workshop, participants delved into the mesmerising world of marine life, sculpting masterpieces that reflected their imagination, while also learning fun facts about the oceans by expert facilitators. Participants also watched a short movie through which they learnt about coral reefs and marine conservation. This workshop took place in collaboration with Coastal Impact.

Open Mic (April 14):

The MoCA courtyard came alive with the voices of our young performers, who captivated the audience with their musical talents, mimicry routines and much more. The Open Mic session was a celebration of creativity and self-expression.

Crafting With Cardboard Workshop (April 14):

Children unleashed their creativity as they transformed cardboard into incredible animal creations inspired by the nature motifs in MoCA’s collection. From playful puppies to majestic elephants, every creation was a testament to the boundless imagination of our young participants.

The Summer Craft Children's Festival has not only been a celebration of childhood but also a testament to the power of community and the joy of learning. Through every activity, every interaction, and every shared experience, MoCA nurtured the seeds of curiosity, creativity, and camaraderie in the hearts of the young participants. The MoCA team has expressed its gratitude to everyone who participated, attended, and contributed to the success of the two-day Children's Festival, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
