Bihar clinch Federation Cup cricket title

Bihar beat Chandigarh by 20 runs to win the all India Double wicket cricket Federation Cup organised by Goa Double Wicket Cricket Association in association with All India Double Wicket Federation at Dr Rajendra Prasad Stadium, here Monday.

Haryana, Bihar, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Vidharba, Maharashtra, Mumbai City, Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradeh and Ranchi teams participated in the tournament.

In the semis, Bihar defeated Mumbai City while Chandigarh easily outwitted Maharashtra.

Ex-state Ranji player and coach Vinod Dhamaskar was the chief guest and distributed the prizes in the presence of Sandesh Desai, Ashendra Naik, coordinator of tournament Sushant Shirodkar,

Secretary of All India Double wicket Federation Virender Dahiya and president of Bihar Double Wicket Association Divya Nandi.
