UC Ambaulim downed St Anthony's Sports Club 2-0 in the GFA Second Division League match, at SAG Trinity ground, Benaulim, on Tuesday.
Both the teams displayed attacking brand of football however goals eluded them.
The second half belonged to the Ambaulim team as they mounted pressure on the rival citadel. Their persistent forays paid off when Alex Fernandes slotted past the rival goalkeeper with snap shot. Jaison Fernandes sealed the rival's fate in injury time.
In another match at Rosary ground, Navelim, United Club of Telaulim and Our Lady of Gloria Ilha de Rachol played out a 1-1 draw. Danoy Vaz and Rivio scored for United Club of Telaulim and Gloria respectively.
