PANAJI
This year the festival of lights, Deepavali, seems to be very special and auspicious, as the king of planets Pushya will remain in his nakshatra for two consecutive days (25 hours, 57 minutes). Coincidentally, this year GuruPushyamrut Mahayog will also be witnessed. Generally, the shopping for the Diwali festival happens during this mega muhurat. The auspicious ceremonies and rituals like Char, Sthir, Shanti Paustik etc are carried out on this particular muhurat. This year, the Pushya Nakshatra which is known to offer chastity and stability, will remain active on Thursday and Friday, and this calls for a Mahayog namely, Gurupushyamrut Mahayog. Acharya Pt Ramchandra Sharma Vaidik from Indore explains that This maha muhurat Guru Pushya Nakshatra is occurring after 60 years in Shani-Guru yuti. There will be Shani-Guru Yuti in Makar Rashi on October 28. On this day, Sarvarth Siddhi Yog will be there in the morning, between 6.33 am to 9.42 am. The Yuti of Pushya Nakshatra Swami and Upa-swami in Graha Gochar is occurring after 60 years. It was in 1961 that this coincidence had happened.
