PANAJI: Zion Tours & Travels recently launched the book ‘Zion’s Call’, which traces the sacred paths of the Holy Land, on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the company. The Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Rosary Church, Caranzalem, and was presided over by Auxiliary Bishop Simiao Fernandes, along with 14 other priests from all over Goa who had travelled with Zion Tours and the Zion family.
The theme ‘Grace upon Grace’ was chosen by Fr Yesu Karunanidhi, a priest from the Archdiocese of Madurai who is an inter-scriptural scholar and currently serves as the Head of Programmes at the NDS Centre for Biblical Formation in Jerusalem. Fr Yesu chose the theme for the celebrations, signifying the Lord’s blessing and faithfulness to Zion Tours over these years. The Mass was followed by fellowship and lunch. The cake was cut by Paul Siqueira, Director of Zion Tours, along with his family members. Auxiliary Bishop Simiao Fernandes and South Goa MP Viriato Fernandes were among the dignitaries present on the occasion. The book, written by Fr Yesu Karunanidhi, is available at the Zion office in Panaji.
