Goa Tourism hosts ‘Goa Evening’ cultural showcase in Bahrain

His Excellency Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of India to Bahrain, Kuldeep U. Arolkar, Managing Director of the Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd, and dignitaries, including President of the Association of Bahrain Travel and Tourism Agents Fatima Ahmed, Country Manager for Gulf Air Husain Saeed Zaman and President of the Young Goans Club Noel Fernandes, representing the Goan diaspora.

Goa Tourism set the stage ablaze with colour, culture, and coastal charm during the ‘Goa Evening’ at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain on November 23. 

The celebration brought together diplomats, travel influencers, business leaders, media professionals, and the Indian community for a cultural showcase.

A spirited welcome highlighted the warm and ever-growing tourism bonds between India and Bahrain. The energy soared as vibrant Goan folk dancers took the floor, instantly sweeping the audience into the festive heartbeat of Goa.

The evening’s showstopper was the Destination Presentation, featuring stunning visuals, cinematic films, and fresh updates on Goa’s evolving tourism landscape. 

His Excellency Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of India to Bahrain, delivered an inspiring address, applauding the strong cultural bridge between the two nations. 

Kuldeep U Arolkar, Managing Director of the Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd, followed with an engaging briefing on Goa’s latest tourism initiatives, spotlighting new experiences, attractions, and opportunities for travellers.


Members of Young Goans Club led by Mark Gomes present a Portuguese dance performance at the ‘Goa Evening’ event in Bahrain.

Adding to the event’s star power were distinguished dignitaries, including Fatima Ahmed (President of the Association of Bahrain Travel and Tourism Agents), Hussain Zaman (Country Manager for Gulf Air) and Noel Fernandes (President of the Young Goans Club). Their presence brought an extra spark of enthusiasm and strengthened the spirit of collaboration across borders.

The evening wrapped up with B2B meetings between the members of the Travel & Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) and Bahrain Travel & Hospitality professionals.
