Panaji: The ‘ATAL Nirnay – Goa Codes 2026’ competition has been launched to tackle environmental challenges, particularly pollution and waste management. Open to students of Classes VI to IX, the 28-day challenge promotes lasting habits such as waste segregation and community responsibility. The competition features five structured events, including eco-tech innovation, cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and impact documentation. A total of 688 teams from across Goa have registered. Organised by the Project Management Unit under the CARES Scheme in association with the Goa Waste Management Corporation, the initiative combines technology and environmental awareness to promote a cleaner, Garbage-Mukt Goa.
