AAP convenor calls for special Assembly session to repeal Sec 39-A

Extending his support to the ongoing agitation against Section 39-A of the Town and Country Planning Act, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday urged Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to convene a special session of the Goa Legislative Assembly to abolish the controversial law.  

Addressing AAP volunteers and citizens after launching the e-library initiative in Benaulim, the AAP national convenor alleged that the section “provides an opportunity for huge corruption” for ministers and officers and demanded its abolition.
