MARGAO
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal avoided questions about a possible opposition alliance in Goa for the 2027 election. The demand for such an alliance was recently raised by AAP’s Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas.
Kejriwal also did not respond to questions from the media regarding Congress leaders’ allegations that AAP is the BJP’s “B team”. He smiled at reporters and walked towards his waiting car without commenting.
Meanwhile, Venzy Viegas urged the media not to focus on political alliance questions when the State is facing protests over Section 39-A of the TCP Act.
“When Goa is burning, the media should stop asking these questions and politicians should stop answering them. Section 39-A must be scrapped. We should all come together. Political parties must stop accusing each other and unite to scrap the controversial section,” he said.
