Child's Play India Foundation, in association with Clube Harmonia de Margao has organised 'Prelude to Christmas', a musical evening featuring choir and orchestra performances. The Child's Play Chorus Margao branch had over 30 performers led by Vanessa Menezes. They performed a variety of songs including Eye of the Tiger, Roar, You've got a friend in me and traditional carols like Hark the Herald and Silent Night to much applause. Camerata Goa conducted by Dr Luis Dias performed traditional carols from the classical repertoire including Coventry Carol, What child is this, In Dulce Jubilo and Go tell it on the mountain. Camerata Goa will be performing next at Museum of Christian Art's 'Carol on the hill' on December 18. The Child's Play Chorus will perform on December 16 at Saligao Institute, along with the Saligao branch of the choir. The choir will also be at the Museum of Christian Art on December 19.
