PANAJI: A large congregation of devotees gathered for the feast celebrations of St Anthony, led by Bishop Emeritus of Port Blair, Bishop Alex Dias, along with Superior General of the Pilar Society Rev. Fr Nazareth Fernandes, Loutolim Parish Priest Rev. Fr Simon Fernandes and Rector of Pilar Monastery Rev. Fr Joseph Baptista. The clergy led the faithful in placing floating petition candles around the miraculous statue of St. Anthony, symbolising their prayers and intentions. Twenty-one devotees represented the congregation in reciting the Rosary, St. Anthonicho Kurou, the Litany and other devotional prayers.
