PANAJITo commemorate the 90th birth anniversary of composer, lyricist, singer and writer late Alfred Rose, a book on his lyrics will be released by Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) on August 5 at Ravindra Bhavan Margao at 4 pm. The research on the lyrics of Alfred Rose has been done by Dr Glenis Maria Mendonça, an associate professor at Carmel College for Women and an executive member of DKA. Deputy speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly and MLA of Mapusa constituency Joshua Peter De Souza will release the book in the presence of Rita Rose, wife of late Alfred Rose along with DKA team Vincy Quadros, Daniel F De Souza, William Fernandes and Celso Fernandes. Guest of honour Rita Rose will be felicitated on the occasion by DKA. Writer and former speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Tomazinho Cardozo will speak on the book. The Rose family with Rita Rose, Englebert and Alriya Rose and other Goan singers will present a musical show after the book release.
