Conclave charts energy roadmap for MSMEs

The ASSOCHAM Goa Council, in collaboration with the Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and the State government, organised the Manufacturing Conclave 2026 at Taj Vivanta, St Inez, focusing on sustainable growth for MSMEs.

Held under the theme “Powering MSMEs from Energy Savings to Sustainable Growth,” the conclave brought together industry leaders, policymakers and financial experts to discuss strategies for boosting competitiveness.

ASSOCHAM Goa Council Chairman Dr Sagar Salgaocar highlighted the link between energy efficiency and industrial growth, while GEDA Member Secretary Sanjeev Joglekar spoke on policy frameworks to accelerate the energy transition.

The event featured panel discussions with representatives from key industry bodies, focusing on bridging gaps between energy efficiency and industrial scaling.

Expert sessions covered converting energy savings into capital, infrastructure development, GEDA schemes, and energy and water audits. Discussions also addressed regulatory challenges, financing gaps and scalable solutions, aiming to chart a sustainable roadmap for MSMEs in Goa.
